Niamh at the Santa Monica Pier, March 2005 (Camera phone Pic)Niamh and I visited the Santa Monica Pier on an overcast slightly drizzly day. We walked around, had some Clam Chowder for lunch, and visited the arcade, where Niamh took a few rides. She enjoys anything with a Wheel she can turn. She enjoys the ocean, but is still a bit wary of it. Although the phone cam pics aren't that great, the sponteneity and ease of use, makes it fun to use.

Another Phone camera Pic from the PierHere Niamh settles in behind the wheel of one of the 50 cent motorized car rides (I remember when these use to be a nickel, sheesh). Niamh seemed to enjoy the rides, but had to have a hand on me. There was a small 3 animal merry go round that she decided was scary after about 2 revolutions. She grabbed me, and I wasn't fast enough to run around it, so we had to disembark. ;)

Fountain Day Swimming #1Niamh attends nursery school now, which includes swimming every day during the summer. They have taught her how to go under water, as these pictures taken at the school attest.
